After a long history of kidney illness, 86-year old Ragnar decided to take control of his own end.
The fatigue, pain and fear of becoming incapacitated by a stroke like many of his friends made him make the decision.
He resisted any attempt to talk him out of it.
When the final decision was made, he was relieved. He had lived a happy life but now it was time to write the last chapter. He organized everything surrounding his funeral - into the smallest detail - said his goodbyes, gave the children their inheritance, stopped his dialysis treatment and checked into a Hospice.
